We introduced a new feature where we invite any MGA member to talk about their
experiences from a golf destination / vacation. This month Ken Brace talked about
a positive experience golfing in the Pinehurst area. Ken felt Talamore was a very
nice course, reasonably priced, spouse friendly – a great value overall.
General Discussion
Dean Wood reminded everyone to renew their handicapping service.
Dean also did a quick ‘poll’ to determine how far members would be willing to drive
to golf at a ‘nice’ golf course / tournament – Consensus was 1½ hour max limit.
To make access to Fort Gordon for tournaments easier / quicker,
consider getting a yearly pass.
50/50 drawing – ticket #433926 was lucky for Bill Egge: winning $35.50
Meeting was adjourned at 6pm.
