Men's Golf League
Meets every Wednesday morning at the Cedar Creek Golf Club. Sign up in the Pro Shop no later than the Sunday before play. Play is open to all men who are Cedar Creek residents or members of Cedar Creek Golf Club. The Wednesday Men’s League is a great way to meet your neighbors and enjoy the game of golf together. Our players’ handicaps vary from single digit to 36+. We play different formats each week, determined by members of the league. Every other week, at a minimum, we play a handicap-generating round. On alternate weeks we play scrambles or other formats just to mix it up. You will play with different people each week, so it’s a good opportunity to meet new people in a low-pressure environment. “The Bracelet’s” Men's Group
Every Friday morning a friendly golf competition is held with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. The competition is handicapped and open to all skill levels. We play different team games each of the first three weeks of the month. The last week of the month is an individual event where we play for the most precious piece of jewelry in Cedar Creek, the coveted “Bracelet”. There are three ways to win; 1st and 2nd low gross and low net team scores by flight (flights determined by the number of players) and individual closest to the pin awards on the par 3’s. Winning payouts are done the same for the team and individual events. If you’d like to join us, please use the Brace sign-up sheet in the Pro Shop by close of business the Wednesday prior to Friday’s play. The cutoff allows us time to balance teams and assig starting holes in advance of play. Now the best part. All this fun can be had for your weekly entry fee of $6 per player. Come on out and have some fun, it’s a great group of guys averaging over 20 players per week. For additional information, contact Ken Brace [email protected] or the staff at the Pro Shop |

Fun for Golf
Open to golfers of all ages and abilities, Cedar Creek residents and friends only. Venue is Cedar Creek Golf Club--usual charges apply. First tee time typically 8:30 AM but is weather-dependent. Try to pair golfers of similar abilities together. For More Information contact: Alan Kundtz - [email protected] Paul Hackett - [email protected] $11 POINTS AND SKINS GAME INFORMATIONThe game entry fee is $11 and split out as follows:
If 10 players show up, our total prize money is $110.
Closest to the Pin $1 Pool
If a new member does not have an established GHIN index / handicap, they can play 3 times (without prize money entry / winning) and on their 4th event they will have an established points quota. Point quotas for all established players are managed as follows: Based on your over/under quota point tally for a given game
Note1: You can only go up a max of 3 and down a max of 1 on your quota. Note2: It you do not finish in the points money your quota does not change unless you are -2 or less, in which case your quota still goes down 1. The game is based on individual play according to the rules of golf. Points will be awarded for the following: 1 – Bogie 2 – Par 4 – Birdie 6 – Eagle (includes hole-in-one on par 3) 8 – Double Eagle (includes hole-in-one on par 4) Once you turn a score card in to the scorer, it is considered your official score for that round. Please make sure your scores are correct prior to turning in your group’s card. The person scoring the round for his foursome will be considered the captain of his group. The captain collects that group’s entry fees, keeps the official scorecard and turns in the collected money & scorecard at the end of the round. It is prudent for another person to keep an alternate scorecard for verification purposes before turning in.. Once all cards are turned in, the game Director will enter all scores and all winnings will be paid out at that time. Every effort will be made to insure that scores have been entered correctly. Winning players (based on points vs. quota) will be announced. Once the game day money has been paid and players have left the course, the results will be deemed final and cannot be challenged, even if a mistake in scoring has been noticed. The score keeping will be done by computer with results sent to any and all who provide their email addresses. Recommended Tees: Aiken Golf Club Handicap
Cedar Creek Handicap
Note: You may ask for a different Tee assignment. The game Director has final say on which tee box a player should use. We will play according to the USGA rules of golf. Local Rules apply. At the beginning of a round, the game Director may invoke special rules (e.g. Lift, Clean & Place, etc.) Contact: David Schwartz ([email protected]) with any questions you may have for Cedar Creek. The same game is run by Stan Selby ([email protected]) on Thursday at Aiken Golf Club |
