Meeting called to order at 5:00 pm by President Richard Stamm.
Minutes for Jan 12 2016 meeting were approved.
Kenny E. was not available to give a golf tip, but the new owner / operators of the Grille,
Michael & Andrea Del Signore, stopped by for a meet & greet. They outlined their vision for the operation of the Grille (Hours of operation, food style, etc.) and were very interested in the ideas and opinions of the MGA membership
Treasurer’s Report
We now have 114 paid members
Beginning Balance $1,778.93
Minus $20 for 2 members who paid twice
Minus $17.75 for Par 3
Ending balance of $1,741.18
News From the Course
The back nine renovation will start sometime after the Cedar Creek living outing
Which will be held on May 14, 2016. Preparations for the renovations have already
begun.
Some folks continue to ignore course protocol: Driving off the cart-paths, not fixing
divots and ball marks, etc. It is our home course and incumbent upon us to ‘patrol’
misuse: Call the Pro-Shop if you observe flagrant violations, remind fellow golfers
of the expected conduct, help repair divots and ball marks. Make one, fix two: If
you make a divot and/or ball mark, fix it and another that is nearby

Bill Robinson conducted a quiz and lesson about scoring a hole when crazy things
happen

Results from the Par 3 tournament were announced.
New Business
The next tournament is Wednesday, Feb 17, 2016 @ Aiken Golf Club.
Modified Stableford scoring with optional Gross Skins game
The next tournament after AGC will be at Mount Vintage,Thursday March 24.
