Gary is fighting parasitic nematodes on the greens. While there are beneficial varieties, eradication of the harmful nematodes that plague and destroy the roots of greens grasses is a long-term process that requires spraying, fertilizing and application of a different topdress sand which has been in use now for several months. Nevertheless, it may take several years to reach the appropriate balance of good and bad nematodes in the soil. Until then the recommended program will continue to be used to counteract the destructive Sting and Rootnot nematodes
