Course News for February 2019

2/1/2019

Mother Nature is not being kind for course maintenance. As all are aware an abundance of rain has been an issue particularly affecting the low-lying areas of the course as well as treatment of bunkers among other things. Frequent temperature swings and frost compound Gary and hiscrew’s daily routines. Less of precaution but more of necessity tarpaulins have been put to use to preserve and protect the greens and to preclude another bout with the dreaded “winter kill” asoccurred last year. It goes without saying daily work has been hampered, and play consequently has been affected. It has to get better soon!
